Can the Fantastic Four Come Back?
This year has seen Marvel's First Family get absolutely decimated. Their main title came to and end in "The End is Four-Ever," and their Ultimate universe counterpart came to a close as well (possibly last year or earlier, I don't keep track of the Ultimate universe to be honest). Then, of course, there was that bore-fest that has garnered a solid 9% on Rotten Tomatoes in Fan4stic.
*sigh*
Are they done for good?

Blue Nexus #23: Something Wicked...Is Already Here?
He winced as he moved his arm. No, God, no! In his Nexus
form, Kyle knew, he couldn’t feel much pain. There was so much adrenaline and
energy flowing through him that he wasn’t able to fully comprehend pain. Now,
though, he knew. His arm was broken, and he knew his vision was going to go
soon, too.

Has Dragon Ball gone too far?
Spoilers for Dragon Ball Z and Battle of Gods
Dragon Ball is a series that has taken the world by storm, most notably with the back-half of its main series in Dragon Ball Z, one of my favorite shows of all time and one of the most talked-about and influential anime series for many Western viewers. It's spawned hundreds of anime episodes, over twenty movies, and now, two major theatrical releases for, again, Western audiences. It's a series that proves how capable it is time and time again over in the United States and is one not to be forgotten.
But it's time for it to end. Now, it's getting to be a bit much, and it's making me wonder why this series above all others is getting these huge movie releases compared to others. The reason I come up with is not one I particularly enjoy, either.

Convergence #8 Review
Well if you were mad about DC getting rid of previous continuities, kiss that goodbye because Convergence has come to your rescue! I mean, wow. For an "okay" issue it really packs a major punch. Like "Future's End" it leaves you wondering if the whole event was made just to set up a book coming out in June, but unlike Future's End this does have an impact on the rest of the DCU. Like, the entire DCU.

"Puella Magi Madoka Magica" Review
Dude.
What the heck. This is not the show I ordered.
Okay, that's not entirely true. I knew that there was going to be some dark twists and turns to this show based off of comments people have given about it. I mean, at first look, it's a really girly anime. It's about "magical girls" which are a pretty stereotypical character class in anime and it's even got a cat, like Sailor Moon. Pft. Whatever.

"Arrow" Season 3 Review
Spoilers for Arrow Season 3
So, this sucks. I always hate waiting for TV shows to come back, especially when they leave on an ambiguous note like this one did. It's like being on a ride when suddenly the ride stops with the promise that it will get going again. "What do we do now?" I'll tell you what: we watch the series again in preparation for Season 4, bring on the DVDs/ Blu-Rays!
Though maybe I'll have to take a breath before jumping back into this season...

Blue Nexus: Solar Survivors Part 1
Konda
stepped around the long table, where Aen and Nea sat on opposite sides of each
other. The Close Sun shone into Konda’s eyes while the Distant Sun appeared
merely as a shiny marble behind it. Konda raised his hand to cover it, then
looked back to the two elders. They were motionless, their hands flat on the
table. They were watching just what Konda was watching before.
The young,
very young actually, warrior from Earth known as Kyle Raiden combated a being
born of the negative energy from the Nexus. He fought in a ruthless battle.
Konda was all too aware of the dormant power he was scraping at every time he
got up. His ally, dressed in more civilian Earth clothing, also put up a good
fight. Konda couldn’t help but feel uneasy watching him, something about his
power…
