The 100: "Day Trip" Review
This episode managed to show that doing the drugs leads to a lack of production. No duh.
On a more serious note, the visions and the drugs did provide some interesting sight into the minds of the characters as we got to see both their greatest fears and worst guilts, particularly with Bellamy. Some of them were just silly, like Monty trying to figure out a physics equation.

Arrow: "Streets of Fire" Review
In many ways this episode went exactly how it needed to as a penultimate episode for an already memorable season. It set up a big finale while also bringing a lot of past elements and creating friction with them. Things from season one and things that have been lightly touched upon earlier on this season finally came to fruition. Some things were revealed to characters that were interesting little tidbits for the audience to chew on. There wasn't too much that we had to guess on but the ending was very left open-ended, with the fate of two pivotal men left unknown. And Amanda Waller was just...Amanda Waller. No shocks there.
Top 10 Favorite Female Characters
But times have changed since those days long past. Now women are getting leading roles, and female characters are being allowed to shine. Heck some movies, like Sucker Punch, are all about women being the heroines. Disney sort of crippled the female character by introducing the idea of the princess, which is "I don't have to do anything but be pretty and the male will eventually come swoop me off my feet" until movies such as Mulan, Tangled, and most recently Frozen mocked this idea and empowered their female characters...often literally giving them powers.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Too Much and Too Little
Sub-par.
Yeah, not gonna lie this movie could not eat all that it had on its plate. If this were like a three hour movie that would probably be different. The ending of the movie and everything that led up to it felt extremely rushed.

"Black Lagoon" Review
Yeah, it's the same show, Black Lagoon, but they called season two a separate thing because reasons. I guess that's kinda like what SAO is doing, as season two is going to be called Sword Art Online II. I'm not complaining. It's not like the second season was any worse.
But enough about formalities. What is this "Black Lagoon" I speak of? Well it's an anime series dating back to 2006/2008, whether you watched it dubbed or subbed. It follows the Lagoon Company, a group of mercenaries, or "delivery boys" as one would call them, as they carry out missions for various organizations, such as the Japanase Yakuza, the Chinese Triad, or the Russian Mafia Hotel Moscow.
What else is it? Not. For. Kids.

Arrow "City of Blood" Review
Despite this week kind of acting as filler, in a way, for next week's episode following the catastrophic and rather large events of the end of last week's episode, this week's episode (how many times can I say "episode in a sentence, am I right?) played on the emotions of the characters very well. Despite there being minimal action, we got a lot of pay-off for things that have been sort of realizing themselves to the characters. Pieces we expected to fall into place did indeed do so, and there were some surprises as well.

Should the new Justice League film be a New 52 interpretation?
Lately I've been delving into, and catching up on, a lot of the New 52 that DC Comics is producing. And overall, I'm really liking what I'm seeing. My main reads, in case you're wondering, are the Green Arrow books (ah, man, such a good interpretation of him!) and the new Batman: Eternal run that is actually super interesting and suspenseful. But beyond that, I've read Justice League of America, the original Batman run (like Court of Owls, City of Owls, etc.) and some of the Justice League. I've seen the Justice League: War film that is based off of Volume 2 of the book, and I'm familiar with what the New 52 has brought to each character.
